LOCATION: Bothell, WA
PAY RATE: Up to $75.00 per hour

Summary:
-
We are looking for a Wire Installation Engineer to create beautiful Aircraft interiors for VIP’s and Heads of State.
-
Responsible for the design and oversight of the wire installation, operation and maintenance of electrical components, equipment, and systems
-
Define wire installation requirements and definition for VIP/VVIP aircraft.

Create a drawing list of assigned wire installation for project level STC
-
Designs wire installation layouts and drawings utilizing engineering drafting tools in 2D and 3D
-
Designs the wire installation of electrical components and equipment with maintenance and operational functionality in mind.

Participate in the scheduling of assigned wire installing drawings to ensure accuracy to major milestones and deliverables; Estimating of assigned wire installation drawings to ensure accuracy of hours.

Support installation of systems via liaison with modification facility, identifies root cause issues, captures redline updates, resolve design issues and updates drawings to meet schedule.

Interfaces with customers (internal and external), FAA designees and vendors during entire project to ensure designs meet all requirements.

Maintains close coordination with project engineers to comply with scheduled of cost of projects.

Works with approved budget, develops and implements cost saving measures, contributes to profits and revenue and conserves organizational resources.
Required Skills:
-
Define wire installation requirements and definition for VIP/VVIP aircraft.

Extensive technical knowledge of Boeing aircraft for VIP and/or commercial models and strong working knowledge of My Boeing Fleet for OEM data sets

Proven proficiency in 3D Autodesk Software for design and development of aircraft wire routing drawings for shipside and monuments to latest FAA design standards to meet customer requirements. Preferred experience: Inventor

Demonstrated experience: routing shipside and monument wires.

Competent in required job skills and knowledge, exhibits ability to learn and apply new skills, keeps abreast of current developments, requires minimal supervision, displays understanding of how job relates to others, and uses resources effectively.
