JOB TITLE: Wire Design & Installation Engineer 4
LOCATION: Oklahoma City, OK
PAY RATE: $90.50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)

• Security Clearance: Clearance is not required to start; however, candidates must be eligible and able to obtain a clearance post-start.

• Schedule: Full-time, 9x80 work schedule (in alignment with OKC operations)

• Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Overtime: Up to 25% may be required

• Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Develops and maintains cable and wire harness detail and assembly designs.

• Analyzes results and leads design reviews.

• Provides engineering disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests).

• Documents processes, specifications, and procedures supporting the design and manufacturing of electrical commodities.

• Develops complex statements of work, metrics, schedules, and budgets.

• Performs technical reviews of supplier capabilities to support source selection.

• Works under minimal direction.

Requirements:

• Clearance is not required to start; however, candidates must be eligible and able to obtain a clearance post-start.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry

• Typically 9+ years of related experience, or:

  • Master’s degree + 7 years’ experience

  • PhD + 4 years’ experience

• (In the U.S., ABET accreditation is preferred but not required)

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
