We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.
Job Details:
Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)
Clearance: Clearance is not required to start; however, candidates must be able to obtain a clearance after hire
Schedule: 9/80 (Full-time)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Overtime: Up to 25%

Summary:
Develops and maintains cable and wire harness detail and assembly designs.
Analyzes results and conducts design reviews.
Designs and maintains electrical product details, assemblies, and installation layouts (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas).
Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests).
Documents processes, specifications, and procedures to support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.
Develops basic statements of work and participates in technical reviews of supplier capabilities to support source selection.
Analyzes functional and physical inputs to ensure the development of complete, integrated designs.
Works under general direction.
Requirements:
Clearance is not required to start; however, candidates must be able to obtain a clearance after hire
Education and experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor's degree).
Typically requires 5 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., PhD, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of related experience).
ABET accreditation is preferred but not required in the U.S.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
