JOB TITLE: Validation Team Member - Aerospace 

LOCATION: Greensboro, NC

PAY RATE: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Summary: 

• Coordinates and facilitates activities to support FAA conformity, domestic aircraft certification, and foreign aircraft export certification.

• Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, communicating with FAA designees, QC Inspectors, and Supplier Agents, and overseeing the completeness and accuracy of conformity documentation per OMS company procedures and the Certification Plan.

• Controlling, compiling, validating, and maintaining documents to support Quality Assurance and Document Control Departments.

• The position requires collaboration with Quality, Production, and FAA Designee teams, without direct reports.

• Planning, coordinating, and facilitating meetings for Conformity and Validation projects.

• Reviewing certification documentation for accuracy and compliance.

• Maintaining inspection and build records.

• Developing and completing export compliance checklists in line with FAA requirements.

• Scheduling and following up on conformity activities with QC Inspectors, Supplier Agents, and FAA Designees.

• Preparing FAA applications for U.S. Airworthiness Certificates.

• Entering data into company databases, including aircraft maintenance records.

• Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills:

• Associate Degree in Aviation Business Administration, Aeronautics, or related field, or a minimum of 2 years of Type Certification or FAA-related experience.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Thorough knowledge of general office practices and procedures.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access).

Desired Skills:

• Experience with SAP and TeamCenter applications.

• FAA Conformity experience.

Environment:

• Normal office setting with occasional exposure to hot environments and noise.

• Physical activities may include bending, stooping, squatting, and continuous walking.
