JOB TITLE: V-22 Aircraft Maintenance - DEFENSE
LOCATION: 
Nas Miramar, CA
PAY RATE: $35-43/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required (must be current or active within the last 24 months)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Independently assemble, disassemble, and repair aircraft assemblies by removing and replacing aerospace components

  • Use aerospace maintenance practices and product specifications to correct failures and restore serviceability

  • Remove and replace components for repair, replacement, or testing support

  • Resolve routine issues during aircraft operation, maintenance, and overhaul activities

  • Coordinate assembly/disassembly/overhaul tasks to ensure accuracy and completeness of work

  • Perform routine and complex diagnostic and functional testing using monitoring instruments and test equipment

  • Conduct root cause analysis for mechanical and electrical faults using established procedures

  • Document repairs, test results, modifications, and inspections in accordance with regulatory and contractual requirements

  • Verify accuracy of instructions and assist engineering in resolving discrepancies

  • Identify and document discrepancies during inspections and component evaluations

  • Perform aircraft modifications to ensure compliance and serviceability standards

  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness of all modification work performed

Requirements:

  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required (must be current or active within the last 24 months)

  • V-22 aircraft maintenance/modification experience required

  • Ability to travel up to 30%, including short-notice domestic assignments (CONUS, including military bases and Hawaii)

  • Must be willing to travel as required; refusal may be considered a resignation

  • High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance environments and safety standards

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License

  • Experience in quality assurance or inspection roles

  • Extensive depot-level modification experience
