Job Description

JOB TITLE: Tool Coordinator L3 - DEFENSE 
LOCATION: 
Malmstrom AFB, MT
PAY RATE: Up to $34/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: Secret Clearance Required

  • Shift: 1st | Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Summary: 

  • Support maintenance and tool service operations by assessing requirements, coordinating with support teams, managing procurement, and maintaining compliance with inventory processes.

  • Works under limited supervision.

  • Assess maintenance needs and verify non-production material/tool/shop supply requests.

  • Coordinate with support teams to resolve issues and mitigate impacts to budget or schedules.

  • Analyze, procure, and manage maintenance tool services and materials.

  • Track and redistribute inventory, supporting removal of obsolete items.

  • Utilize inventory management systems to optimize resource usage.

  • Ensure compliance with process requirements, engineering specs, and maintenance procedures.

  • Generate reports to support organizational and contractual needs.

Requirements:

  • Secret Clearance Required

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 3+ years managing test assets or calibrated equipment

  • 3+ years of experience with FOD (Foreign Object Debris) risk management

  • Experience using computer-based inventory management systems

  • Willingness to work variable shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays)

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Air Force Logistics Supply Systems and DOD inventory regulations

  • Knowledge of GFE, GFP, and government inventory audits

  • Experience with GOLD / GOLDesp systems

  • Support experience in flight line maintenance and compliance with DCMA 8210.1C

  • Strong communication, organizational, and MS Office skills
