JOB TITLE: Tool & Fixture Specialist - DEFENSE 
LOCATION: Saint Louis, MO
PAY RATE: $51.72/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Additional Information: $600/week per diem for eligible candidates; contract duration minimum 160 hours (anticipated to extend); guaranteed 160 hours of pay even if contract ends early.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Performs setup, maintenance, inspection, and repair of tooling.

• Manufactures and designs assembly and fabrication tools using precision hand tools, machinery, and computer-controlled equipment per engineering drawings.

• Operates factory support equipment, including overhead cranes and powered industrial trucks, and works at heights with fall protection.

• Provides tooling support to other organizations, mentors less experienced employees, and collaborates with technical teams to resolve complex tool setup issues.

• Demonstrates tool functionality by producing first parts and ensures acceptable part and assembly quality.

• May reverse engineer designs and fabrication processes as needed.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Regular and predictable attendance

• Ability to work under general direction and mentor others

• Start ASAP

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
