Job Description

JOB TITLE: Test & Evaluation Lab Tech 3
LOCATION: Berkeley, MO
PAY RATE: $32-40/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

  • Clearance: Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance (active clearance preferred).

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot flight simulation equipment (computers, monitors, audio/visual systems, crew stations, rack equipment).

  • Conduct and document tests on products, systems, and components; analyze data and report results.

  • Design, fabricate, assemble, and modify test systems, hardware, and methodologies.

  • Support system integration, setup, checkout, and tear-down activities.

  • Coordinate test requirements and lab activities; maintain and repair lab equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve electronic, mechanical, and lab-related issues.

  • Provide coaching and training as needed.

  • Work under general direction.

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance (active clearance preferred).

  • Associate’s degree + 3 years, Bachelor’s + 1 year, or 5+ years equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years in fabrication/assembly of mechanical or electrical systems (per industry standards).

  • 3+ years in an engineering lab environment or comparable military experience.

  • 3+ years reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

  • 3+ years working with flight simulation equipment.

  • 3+ years maintaining computer hardware.

  • Experience with Mil-Spec connector termination.

  • Experience with Mil-Spec fiber optic termination/splicing.

  • Active U.S. Secret Clearance.
