JOB TITLE: Test & Evaluation Engineer 3
LOCATION: Taft, CA
PAY RATE: $78/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Clearance: Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (clearance active within the past 24 months is acceptable).

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Develop and track performance metrics, identify trends, and support corrective action planning.

• Assist in developing test execution plans including resource allocation, scheduling, equipment utilization, and floor space management.

• Improve communication and operational visibility through status reporting of testing and cleaning activities.

• Support creation and maintenance of test, cleaning, and operational documentation.

• Track test phases and upcoming activities to ensure program deadlines are met.

• Coordinate daily with propulsion test management and engineering teams.

• Operate under general direction while supporting laboratory and propulsion test operations.

Requirements:

• Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (clearance active within the past 24 months is acceptable).

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science.

• 7+ years of experience in test laboratory operations.

• 7+ years of propulsion, pressure and fluid systems, or vacuum system testing experience.

• 4+ years of precision hardware cleaning experience.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of cleanroom operations experience.

• Experience in a lead, supervisory, or management role.

• Knowledge of propellant handling, chemical storage, or safety requirements.
