JOB TITLE: Test & Evaluation Engineer 3 - Electrical/Electronic Testing
LOCATION: El Segundo, CA
PAY RATE: $78/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.
Job Details:
Job Type: Contract (Up t o 6 months with potential for extension)
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance (not required to start).
Shift: Primarily 2nd shift (1st/3rd shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime may be required)

Summary:
Support development and verification of test methods
Develop and execute detailed test procedures
Define instrumentation and configurations needed to minimize risk within test plan constraints
Develop solutions to calibration system issues of limited scope and impact
Design test hardware, software, and systems to meet requirements
Analyze, process, and format data to customer requirements
Review nominal and off-nominal test data for accuracy and quality prior to delivery
Prepare and publish formal test reports
Present test results internally
Archive test data and documentation
Work under general direction from test leads
Requirements:
Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance (not required to start).
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Engineering Technology), Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science
3+ years of experience working with specialized test equipment and instrumentation using electrical engineering test methodologies
3+ years of experience performing automated testing and troubleshooting electronics hardware and software
Experience using C#-based software tools
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a lab and/or production environment
5+ years of experience with test instrumentation and/or test methods
