Job Description

JOB TITLE: Test & Evaluation Engineer 2 
LOCATION: El Segundo, CA
PAY RATE: $46-65/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Provide factory floor support to multiple programs: define/document test setups, deploy test software/configurations, and troubleshoot issues

  • Support requests to improve team effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity

  • Develop, implement, and sustain tools to meet product security requirements

  • Apply agile methodologies to plan, execute, and track security-related work

  • Develop and enhance system requirements/architectures for product security in compliance with certification and customer standards

  • Configure and secure facilities, equipment, tools, networks, and resources for product design, build, test, delivery, and operations

Required Skills:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field + 5+ years of experience (or equivalent)

  • Current CompTIA Security+ certification

  • Experience with operating systems: Windows Server, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux, Cisco IOS

  • Proficiency in VMWare virtualization and Enterprise Storage

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL 4 and/or CCNA certification

  • Experience in satellite test and STE operations readiness

  • Background in cybersecurity, RedHat/Oracle Linux servers, Windows OS (XP–11), and network-based storage systems

  • Experience certifying PTEX/MTEX Test Servers and Automated Test Controller (ATC) Servers
