JOB TITLE: Technical Designer 3
LOCATION: Oklahoma City, OK
PAY RATE: $48/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.
Job Details:

Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)

Clearance: Not required, but must be able to obtain post-start

Schedule: Full-time | 9x80 work schedule

Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Overtime: Up to 25%

Summary:
-
Develops, maintains, and releases electrical and mechanical drawings, system designs, and engineering documentation in accordance with company, industry, and government standards.

Utilizes design tools to prepare documentation and implement design changes.

Creates and updates design layouts, modifies existing designs, and identifies discrepancies. Supports system design validation and functionality activities.

Develops installation and part designs ranging from simple to moderately complex.

Coordinates with internal teams and external suppliers.

Works under general direction.
Requirements:

Clearance is not required to start, but the candidate must be able to obtain one after hire.

Associate degree with 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination (e.g., Bachelor + 1 year, or 5+ years of relevant experience).

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
