Job Description

JOB TITLE: Systems Integration Test Engineer - DEFENSE 
LOCATION: Orlando, FL
PAY RATE: $71.59/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (11 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Develop Test Procedures and Test Plans

  • Prepare Test Readiness Review (TRR) packages

  • Execute SOF testing and author Qualification Test Reports

  • Support system-level integration activities

  • Assist in subassembly builds, hardware assembly, and Acceptance Testing

  • Interface with customers and program stakeholders to ensure hardware is validated prior to field deployment

  • Coordinate cross-functional resources for successful test execution

Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field 

  • 5 years of experience in Systems Integration & Test (I&T), including:

    • Verifying integrated hardware meets physical, functional, and performance goals

    • Ensuring hardware complies with requirements documentation

  • 2–4 years of electrical troubleshooting and electrical testing experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in:

    • DVT (Design Vehicle Testing)

    • Validation

    • User Acceptance Testing

  • Ability to work across engineering, software, and production teams

  • Strong coordination, presentation, and troubleshooting skills

  • EO/IR system experience

  • Requirements verification and validation

  • System security and declassification knowledge

  • Understanding of subsystem HW/SW capabilities

  • Experience designing system verification processes based on DOORS requirements

  • Familiarity with test equipment management (function, calibration, security)

  • Ability to generate detailed, audit-ready test reports

  • Comfortable delivering customer presentations with performance data and corrective action

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
