JOB TITLE: Systems Integration Test Engineer - DEFENSE 
LOCATION: 
Chelmsford, MA
PAY RATE: $79.04/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Establish functional and technical specifications and standards.

  • Solve hardware/software interface issues, define input/output parameters, and ensure full system integration.

  • Review and evaluate requirements for testability.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for subsystems and systems.

  • Coordinate subsystem/system testing with program teams and other organizations.

  • Analyze test results and prepare evaluation reports to verify and validate system performance.

  • Write discrepancy reports and conduct regression testing to validate software fixes and system updates.

Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance (must be current to be considered).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, OR equivalent professional-level career experience.

  • 5+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office (status reports, project plans, work instructions).

  • 5+ years’ experience writing, editing, and supporting software using LabVIEW.

  • 3+ years’ experience writing, editing, and supporting software using TestStand.

  • 3+ years’ experience analyzing and resolving technical problems.

  • Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Team-oriented, with proven collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal detailed direction.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of professional-level career experience.

  • Expertise in measuring electrical parameters for components and subassemblies.

  • 5+ years’ experience with RF/Microwave systems and subsystems.

  • 3+ years’ experience developing complex test programs in TestStand.

  • Experience researching and specifying components for test equipment design.

  • Proven troubleshooting ability across instruments, fixturing, software, and unit under test.

  • Proficiency in creating engineering documentation (assembly sketches, block diagrams, parts lists).

  • Familiarity with corrective/preventive action processes and implementation.

  • Experience deriving test requirements from system-level requirements.

  • Ability to resolve discrepancies between drawings and actual hardware.

  • Strong collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and organizations.

  • Skilled in preparing technical presentations, reports, and trade studies.
