JOB TITLE: Systems Integration & Test Engineer
LOCATION: Orlando, FL
PAY RATE: $71.59/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain integration and testing solutions for in-house and COTS/GOTS components, subsystems, and systems

  • Translate customer requirements into system-level test solutions while balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints

  • Define functional and technical specifications, resolve hardware/software interface issues, and ensure full system integration

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for systems and subsystems

  • Evaluate requirements for testability and support verification and validation activities

  • Coordinate testing efforts across programs and cross-functional teams

  • Analyze test results and prepare detailed system/subsystem evaluation reports

  • Document discrepancies and perform regression testing to validate fixes across software and hardware components

Requirements:

  • Active security clearance required to start

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field required

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in electro-optical, optical, or infrared (IR) design and development

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in system design, integration, testing, and verification/validation of electro-optical systems

  • Proven ability to develop advanced test plans, procedures, execution schedules, and reports for customer and stakeholder reviews

  • Strong background in physics principles and electronic testing methodologies

  • Experience developing and executing test plans for complex systems

  • Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting space or aerospace applications

  • Familiarity with COTS/GOTS integration

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent documentation and communication abilities
