JOB TITLE: Systems Integration & Test Engineer 
LOCATION: Orlando, FL
PAY RATE: Up to $71.59/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for integration and testing of in-house and COTS/GOTS components, subsystems, and systems

  • Translate customer contractual needs into system test solutions considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints

  • Establish functional and technical specifications; solve hardware/software interface issues; define I/O parameters and ensure full system integration

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for subsystems and systems

  • Coordinate testing activities with programs and functional organizations (Reliability, Software, Electrical, Mechanical)

  • Analyze test results and prepare evaluation reports verifying and validating system performance

  • Write discrepancy reports and perform regression testing to validate fixes

  • Support environmental and acceptance testing (ESS, EMI, Thermal, ATP, FTP) at subsystem and system level

  • Support preparation of test equipment and facilities, including software development

  • Maintain interface control documents (ICDs) and assist with test readiness reviews

  • Participate in ground and flight test events as required

Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance required at start

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related STEM field

  • 2–4 years experience with EO sensor development and testing

  • 2–4 years experience in electronic testing

  • 2–4 years experience in mechanical testing

  • 2–4 years experience with Electro-Optic or missile subsystem integration and testing

  • 2–4 years experience with software development and troubleshooting

  • Demonstrated experience integrating sensors or weapons onto military platforms

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Experience leading teams and project initiatives

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, including experience supporting cross-functional teams and lean initiatives

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in government procurements or subcontract acquisitions

  • Comprehensive understanding of global supply chain and complex government procurement concepts and best practices

  • Experience conducting data analysis, research, and negotiations using multiple data sources

  • Demonstrated experience with proposal evaluations (price/cost analysis) and negotiations, including FAR and DFAR compliance

  • Experience with Statements of Work (SOWs)

  • Knowledge of CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreements) and labor contracts

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Skills:

  • Working knowledge of standard U.S. Department of Defense contract types

  • Experience with SAP systems

  • Ability to establish new suppliers and manage supplier performance

  • Working knowledge of labor contracts

  • Understanding of Special Operations Forces (SOF) contracts

  • Experience establishing and managing competitive and non-competitive price agreements

  • Proven experience leading complex negotiations

  • Experience leading a Subcontract Management Team (SMT)

  • Strong communication skills with executive leadership, suppliers, and external stakeholders, including coordination across functional organizations
