Job Description

JOB TITLE: Systems Integration & Test (I&T) Engineer
LOCATION: Orlando, FL
PAY RATE: $71.59/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension) 

  • Clearance: Active Secret Clearance (required to start)

  • Shift: 4/10A – 1st Shift

  • Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Plan and execute I&T events (environmental confidence, qualification, subsystem/system, and flight testing)

  • Verify integrated hardware meets physical, functional, and performance objectives

  • Ensure compliance with requirement documentation

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to secure resources for testing

  • Interface with customers and stakeholders to validate hardware prior to fielding

  • Support production line subsystem and full missile integration and test planning

  • Conduct technical reviews (VMR, VPR, TRRs, etc.)

  • Develop and execute test and qualification plans

  • Perform subsystem design verification testing and lab testing

Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance (required to start)

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field + 5 years’ experience, or Master’s + 3 years (career/journey level)

  • 2–4 years electrical troubleshooting and testing experience

  • 1–2 years validation and user acceptance testing experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work across distributed teams and IPTs

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years writing proposals and reports
