JOB TITLE: Systems Engineer Support Analyst 3 – Operational Concept Analysis 
LOCATION: Hazelwood, MO
PAY RATE: $67/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Collect model and analysis input data from relevant data sources to support modeling requirements; ensure data integrity through validation checks and clear documentation

  • Partner with modelers and software developers to support development of project/customer-specific modeling architecture diagrams, analysis packages, and model testing/debugging

  • Utilize tools such as draw.io and cloud platforms to automate and monitor data workflows, activity flows, and model source data silos; use visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) to present scenario analysis supporting decision-making efforts

  • Collaborate across functions including Modelers, Analysts, and Data Scientists to bridge gaps, align logistics with project timelines, and improve system readiness

  • Provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) trade study feedback by translating technical logistics data into actionable insights for stakeholders

  • Research and maintain awareness of current and historical military tactics and logistics strategies to enhance modeling fidelity and simulation studies

  • Track established performance metrics and customer requirements

  • Assist with Model-Based Sustainment Simulation (MBSS) production releases

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance (not required to start).

  • Typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) and 5+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master’s degree + 3 years, PhD, or 9+ years of related experience).

  • 3+ years of experience in product support, sustainment, or logistics roles

  • Understanding of Military Concepts of Operations (CONOPs) and logistics

  • Experience communicating effectively with Department of Defense (DoD) customers and cross-functional program teams

  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate discussions across diverse organizations

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • Experience with DoD aircraft maintenance, sustainment, and/or logistics operations

  • Familiarity with modeling tools such as AFSIM, LSAS, OPUS, and/or SIMLOX

  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
