Job Description

JOB TITLE: Systems Engineer
LOCATION: Orlando, FL
PAY RATE: Up to $65/hour

We are a national staffing firm partnering with top-tier aerospace companies, and we are seeking first-class employees to join our clients’ teams!

Job Details:

  • Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

  • Shift: Primarily 1st shift, must be able to support 3rd shift (10PM–8AM) as needed, especially around year-end

Summary: 

  • Support end-to-end systems lifecycle including planning, integration, verification, and requirements analysis.

  • Translate customer needs into hardware/software specifications, ensuring system compliance with cost, schedule, and technical constraints.

  • Perform technical planning, requirements allocation, and system integration

  • Conduct functional, risk, and trade studies

  • Translate requirements into hardware/software specs

  • Support system test, installation, maintenance, and disposal

  • Work across RedHat/SLES Linux and Windows platforms

  • Develop and execute PowerShell and shell scripts

Requirements:

  • Active DoD Secret clearance (minimum interim required)

  • DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE)

  • 4+ years of experience in:

    • Linux Server Administration (RedHat, SLES)

    • Windows Server and Desktop OS

    • Scripting (PowerShell, Shell)

    • Requirements and verification

  • Flexible to support 3rd shift as needed

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR)

  • Networking knowledge

  • Virtualization experience with VMWare/ESXi, vSphere, Hyper-V

  • Proficient with tools such as Excel, JIRA, Confluence, IBM ELM

  • Familiar with software including Git, McAfee, Nexus, Ansible

  • Experience in configuration management, version control, and patching
