JOB TITLE: Systems Engineer
LOCATION: Fort Worth, TX
PAY RATE: $23-108/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: Active Secret clearance (within 5 years) or CE enrollment

  • Schedule: 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM | 4x10 schedule (Wednesday–Saturday or Sunday–Wednesday)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Perform technical planning, system integration, verification & validation (V&V), and cost/risk/supportability analyses across the full system lifecycle (concept through disposal).

  • Translate customer and product requirements into total system solutions within technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

  • Conduct functional analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, interface definition, and timeline analysis.

  • Support F-35 modernization integration and testing in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) labs.

  • Perform software loading, hardware/software integration, patch implementation, and system configuration.

  • Execute system security, performance, and regression testing.

  • Document results through after-action reports and system problem reports.

  • Support mission systems integration, verification, validation, and capability maturation in system-level test environments.

Requirements:

  • Active Secret clearance (within 5 years) or CE enrollment

  • Experience with aircraft mission systems or avionics integration

  • Ability to work independently after initial training

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Engineering or Computer Science preferred)

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Qualifications:

  • F-35 Special Access Program (SAP) clearance

  • Experience with avionics software loading and patch implementation

  • Familiarity with Mission Systems Integration Labs

  • Experience with F-22/F-35 engineering environments (MS, VS, Weapons, Labs)

  • Mission planning environment experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
