Summary: 

• Supports the design, certification, and sustainment of commercial aircraft, applying advanced reliability and maintainability engineering principles to optimize performance, lifecycle economics, and compliance with safety and airworthiness requirements.

• Conduct modeling, simulation, and data analytics, including statistical/probabilistic analyses.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.

• Support technical performance measures (TPMs) such as schedule reliability, operational availability, and maintenance costs.

• Perform failure mode analysis, reliability testing, and certification assessments.

• Utilize digital maintainability tools, including virtual and augmented reality.

• Engage with suppliers, business partners, airline customers, and internal teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (ABET accreditation preferred).

• 8+ years of engineering experience.

• 5+ years of Reliability Engineering experience in commercial aviation.

• Expertise in Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) for aircraft certification.

• Proficiency in FTA tools (e.g., CAFTA, ReliaSoft, FaultTree+).

• Experience with airplane systems design (e.g., Propulsion, Avionics, Electrical, Flight Controls).

• Must be a U.S. Person (Citizen, Green Card holder, Refugee, or Asylee) per export control regulations.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools.

• Strong background in project planning and execution.

• Technical leadership experience.
