JOB TITLE: System Integration/Test Engineer
LOCATION: Chelmsford, MA
PAY RATE: $79.04/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for integration and testing of in-house and COTS/GOTS components, subsystems, and systems.

  • Synthesizes customer requirements into test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

  • Establishes functional and technical specifications, solves hardware/software interface problems, and ensures system integration.

  • Reviews and derives requirements for testability, and develops comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules.

  • Coordinates subsystem/system testing with programs and other organizations.

  • Analyzes test results and prepares subsystem/system level evaluation reports to verify and validate performance.

  • Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify fixes to software, components, and systems.

  • Develops, writes, and maintains software code using LabVIEW and TestStand.

  • Measures electrical parameters for components and subassemblies (preferred) and troubleshoots RF/microwave systems.

  • Generates engineering documentation including block diagrams, parts lists, and assembly sketches.

Requirements:

  • Interim Clearance required to start.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office for status reports, project plans, and work instructions.

  • 5+ years of experience writing, editing, and supporting software code using LabVIEW.

  • 3+ years of experience writing, editing, and supporting software code using TestStand.

  • 3+ years of experience in analyzing and resolving technical problems.

  • 3+ years of experience developing test programs with TestStand (preferred).

  • Experience in deriving test requirements from design or system-level specifications.

  • Experience with RF/microwave system testing and measurement (preferred).

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance (interim clearance required at offer).
