JOB TITLE: Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator / Circuit Boards / Solder
LOCATION: Clearwater, FL
PAY RATE: Up to $22/hour

Job Details:

  • Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

  • Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM

Summary: 

  • Operate through-hole and/or surface mount technology (SMT) automated assembly equipment to build complex, high-quality printed circuit board assemblies.

  • Responsibilities include equipment setup, operation, and routine maintenance.

  • Perform manual or semi-automatic screen printing of solder paste, operate adhesive dispensing equipment, load components onto feeders, and place feeders into placement equipment.

  • May hand-place some SMT components and operate reflow ovens. Use standard electronic hand tools (e.g., solder, flux, adhesive) and follow drawings, visual aids, and instructions to identify defects.

  • Under limited supervision, perform moderately complex SMT manufacturing tasks using automated and manual processes.

  • Operate and adjust SMT, Inspection, AOI, X-RAY, and stencil printing equipment.

Requirements:

 

  • Must have relevant work experience

  • IPC-A-610

  • IPC-J-STD

  • Surface Mount Technology (SMT)

  • Must pass a medical exam per supplier guidelines and be able to read and write in English.

  • Experience with MyData and Universal SMT machines

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
