Summary:
Support the development of aircraft maintenance procedures by interpreting engineering data and translating it into clear, comprehensive technical documentation.
Contributing to technical publications, logistics support analysis, and repair procedures for continued airworthiness of aircraft systems and components.
Interpret and analyze engineering data, reliability/maintainability data, and customer support requirements to develop detailed aircraft maintenance instructions
Provide product supportability recommendations and define operational maintenance tasks and support resources
Identify and analyze logistics support elements to generate Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) records and reports
Write and maintain technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft systems/components
Review LSA reports and revise Initial Maintenance Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA)
Track and manage task progress using Boeing workflow management tools
Perform quality checks on completed maintenance tasks
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure maintainability and supportability are integrated into product design
Analyze and interpret engineering drawings
Develop the initial front-end content of maintenance procedures for technical publications
Conduct repair analysis and integrate findings into maintenance instructions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
Typically, candidates have 6+ years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience.
2+ years of experience as a maintenance task analyst
2+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
Experience with Redars (for interpreting engineering drawings)
Experience developing content for technical publications
Product support analysis experience
Slicwave experience
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Skills:
Experience with CSDT
Experience with CM Pro
