JOB TITLE: Support Engineering Data Specialist 3
LOCATION: Tukwila, WA
PAY RATE: $58/hour

Summary: 

  • Support the development of aircraft maintenance procedures by interpreting engineering data and translating it into clear, comprehensive technical documentation.

  • Contributing to technical publications, logistics support analysis, and repair procedures for continued airworthiness of aircraft systems and components.

  • Interpret and analyze engineering data, reliability/maintainability data, and customer support requirements to develop detailed aircraft maintenance instructions

  • Provide product supportability recommendations and define operational maintenance tasks and support resources

  • Identify and analyze logistics support elements to generate Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) records and reports

  • Write and maintain technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft systems/components

  • Review LSA reports and revise Initial Maintenance Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA)

  • Track and manage task progress using Boeing workflow management tools

  • Perform quality checks on completed maintenance tasks

  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure maintainability and supportability are integrated into product design

  • Analyze and interpret engineering drawings

  • Develop the initial front-end content of maintenance procedures for technical publications

  • Conduct repair analysis and integrate findings into maintenance instructions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Typically, candidates have 6+ years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience.

  • 2+ years of experience as a maintenance task analyst

  • 2+ years of aircraft maintenance experience

  • Experience with Redars (for interpreting engineering drawings)

  • Experience developing content for technical publications

  • Product support analysis experience

  • Slicwave experience

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CSDT

  • Experience with CM Pro
