Job Description

JOB TITLE: Support Engineering Data Specialist 2
LOCATION: Warner Robins, GA
PAY RATE: $47/hour

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Assist in identifying logistics support requirements and developing logistics support analysis records and reports.

  • Determine spares provisioning needs, stocking levels, and replacement part requirements for a single customer and contract type.

  • Participate in the preparation of technical documentation for the operation, testing, and maintenance of aircraft systems and components.

  • Review operational performance data to support improvements in reliability and availability.

  • Develop all publication elements (e.g., theory of operations, flight manuals, troubleshooting procedures, illustrated parts breakdown, schematics, and installation/removal procedures) for new or fielded major equipment systems or subsystems.

  • Resolve gaps and inconsistencies in source data with the originator.

  • Provide technical art mark-ups and update content based on reviews, source changes, and equipment modifications.

  • Collect, research, and analyze source data to evaluate the impact on technical publications.

  • Identify inaccuracies in source data and take corrective action.

  • Validate source data assumptions and conduct peer reviews for accuracy and compliance with format standards.

  • Support customer verification reviews and implement corrective actions based on feedback.

Requirements:

 

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor's degree) and 3+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination (e.g., Master’s degree + 1 year of experience, or 7+ years of relevant experience).

  • Proficiency in MS Office products.

  • Experience with eXtensible Markup Language (XML).

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with Contenta content management system.
