Job Description

JOB TITLE: Support Engineering Data Specialist 2 
LOCATION: 
Oklahoma City, OK
PAY RATE: $47/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Analyze complex engineering designs and changes to determine maintenance/repair requirements and procedures.

  • Influence product designs to improve supportability and maintainability.

  • Develop and apply fault isolation procedures and systems theory documentation.

  • Conduct engineering analysis to validate maintenance/repair data.

  • Develop and support logistics support documentation such as ILSP, PSAP, MTA, SERD, LORA, and other LSA-related deliverables.

  • Evaluate customer maintenance operations and provide technical solutions.

  • Develop user procedures for maintenance and repair.

  • Represent the organization in industry-facing activities.

  • Use analytical tools and desktop software to gather and report data.

  • Collaborate with program management and engineering teams.

  • Participate in or lead working group meetings (in-person and virtual).

  • Professionally interface with customers and suppliers.

  • Work within cost and schedule constraints.

  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

  • Collaborate across teams to reach consensus on engineering and support topics.

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering.

  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings, process specifications, and aircraft technical manuals, including Technical Orders for military aircraft.

  • Familiarity with Product Support Analysis (PSA), Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), GEIA-STD-0007, and MIL-HDBK-502A.

  • Proficiency with LSA tools (e.g., Slicwave, EAGLE, PowerLog, Compass) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of maintenance documentation, wiring diagrams, and airworthiness certification (commercial or military).

  • Background in systems such as Radar, Avionics, Mission Computers, Comms/NAV, Power Plant, Hydraulics, and Electrical & Environmental.

  • Strong systems thinking skills and ability to interpret complex military work instructions.

  • 1+ year of experience in cost account or project engineering.

  • Experience with B-52 Bomber or AWACS platforms preferred.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
