JOB TITLE: Subcontract Administrator - Level 3 
LOCATION: Lexington, KY
PAY RATE: $26-41.53/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: Secret Clearance required to start.

Summary: 

  • Administer and manage subcontracts from RFP through completion.

  • Monitor subcontractor cost, schedule, and performance compliance.

  • Implement corrective actions and lead “return to green” efforts when needed.

  • Provide detailed status reports to senior and executive leadership.

  • Partner with Compliance to support internal and external audits.

  • (LG4 and LG5 only) Mentor and serve as a subject-matter resource on complex subcontracts with SOW-driven requirements.

Requirements:

  • Secret Clearance required to start

  • Experience in Government procurements/subcontract acquisitions.

  • Strong understanding of Global Supply Chain principles and Government procurement processes.

  • Proven ability to perform cost/price analysis and develop negotiation strategies.

  • Experience with FAR and DFAR regulations, proposal evaluations, and Statements of Work.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.

  • Working knowledge of U.S. Department of Defense contract types and SAP systems.

  • Experience establishing new suppliers and managing supplier performance.

  • Familiarity with Labor Contracts and Special Operations Forces (SOF) contracts.

  • Experience in competitive and non-competitive price agreements and complex negotiations.

  • Proven ability to lead a Subcontract Management Team (SMT) and communicate effectively with executive leadership, suppliers, and external partners.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
