JOB TITLE: Stress Engineer 5
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $80.52/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Summary: 

  • Lead and manage major engineering projects of significant complexity within defined scope

  • Make authoritative technical decisions and recommendations impacting large-scale engineering efforts

  • Apply advanced engineering principles, theories, and concepts using deep or specialized knowledge

  • Drive development of innovative solutions, methods, and technologies

  • Independently identify and implement process improvements to optimize product performance, cost, and schedule

  • Provide technical leadership and direction while working under consultative guidance

  • Develop and establish engineering standards, processes, and best practices

  • Plan and lead investigations into new or undefined technical areas critical to program success

  • Collaborate across teams to support program objectives and engineering excellence

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 13+ years of experience in a specific technical discipline OR 15+ years of broad engineering experience across multiple disciplines

  • Demonstrated expertise in solving complex engineering problems requiring innovation and technical leadership

  • Demonstrated advanced technical skills appropriate to the engineering discipline

  • Strong independent judgment, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s or PhD in Engineering or related technical discipline

  • Proven ability to lead high-impact, cross-functional engineering initiatives

  • Experience developing engineering standards and organizational best practices
