Job Description

JOB TITLE:  Remote Stress Analyst (Liaison Support)

LOCATION: Seal Beach, CA

PAY RATE: $75.00 - $81.00 per hour 

(Remote after a 3-5 week ramp up on site.)

Summary: 

  • Performs Stress analysis for Aircraft Primary Structures using Classical analysis methods and Finite Element (FE) methods, following industry standard calculation methods, both for Static (Strength & Stability) and Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analysis methods.

  • Designs structural repairs and conducts static strength analysis.

  • Perform analysis and assessment of structural repairs and modifications, assuring the structure maintains the required capability.

  • Experience with Metallic structural analysis methods.

  • Prepare Stress Analysis Reports & develop analysis packages.

  • Must have prior experience working on aircraft.

Required Skills:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor)

  • 8 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD, Master+5 years of related work experience)

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with either aircraft structural repair, production support, liaison support, or MRB stress analysis 

  • Experience with classical analysis methods and FEA analysis

  • Experienced in technical writing.

  • Good organizational skills are important (prioritizing multiple tasks and able to provide detailed status on work in progress, for example).

  • Knowledge of repair concepts including repair station processes, component repair concepts, procedures, and warranty processes and contractual agreements.

  • Works under limited supervision/direction

  • Experienced in Word and Excel
