Summary:
As the Sr. Materials Manager, you will lead logistics, inventory analytics, and COS Fundamentals implementation across facilities. You'll collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to optimize material flow, enhance ERP system capabilities, and drive supply chain transformation. This role involves managing material constraints, improving process efficiency, and ensuring compliance with inventory policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Corporate Cycle Count Program and ensure inventory accuracy
Manage aging exception transactions and resolve material constraints
Drive continuous improvement and implement kanban material pull
Oversee data analysis for key performance indicators
Develop efficient material handling processes and strategic initiatives
Budget accountability and succession planning for the department
Required Skills:
BS/BA in Business or Supply Chain (Master’s preferred)
5-7 years in operations, inventory management, MRP, and lean manufacturing
Expert in MRP, visual management systems, one-piece flow processes, and data analysis (Excel, PowerBI, Access)
APICS CPIM (or commitment to obtain within 18 months)
Strong presentation, interpersonal, and leadership skills
