JOB TITLE: Sr. Cabinet Finisher

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Perform high-quality repairs and finishing on aircraft furniture in the shop and onboard.
Apply finishes using spray equipment and manual/mechanical methods.
Ensure compliance with material specifications, design requirements, and quality standards.
Collaborate with the Design team to meet customer-approved specifications.
Champion safety, 5S, and housekeeping initiatives while protecting aircraft interiors.
Mentor and train junior Cabinet Finishers.
Identify and implement process improvements using Lean Six-Sigma tools.
Utilize material tracking systems for part demands, squawk tracking, and sign-offs.
Assume Lead responsibilities as needed, overseeing projects and delegating tasks.
Conduct and assist with safety audits.
Maintain shop equipment and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
Participate in monthly 5S audits and process improvement initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Knowledge of inspection procedures and process specifications.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift up to 40 lbs., and work any shift.
Basic computer skills required.
