Job Description

JOB TITLE: Sr. Cabinet Finisher 
LOCATION: Dallas, TX
PAY RATE: $33.81/hour

Job Details:

  • Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Perform high-quality repairs and finishing on aircraft furniture in the shop and onboard.

  • Apply finishes using spray equipment and manual/mechanical methods.

  • Ensure compliance with material specifications, design requirements, and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with the Design team to meet customer-approved specifications.

  • Champion safety, 5S, and housekeeping initiatives while protecting aircraft interiors.

  • Mentor and train junior Cabinet Finishers.

  • Identify and implement process improvements using Lean Six-Sigma tools.

  • Utilize material tracking systems for part demands, squawk tracking, and sign-offs.

  • Assume Lead responsibilities as needed, overseeing projects and delegating tasks.

  • Conduct and assist with safety audits.

  • Maintain shop equipment and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).

  • Participate in monthly 5S audits and process improvement initiatives.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of inspection procedures and process specifications.

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

  • Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift up to 40 lbs., and work any shift.

  • Basic computer skills required.

  • MUST BE US PERSONS
