Job Description

Seeking a qualified Senior Aircraft Maintenance Avionics Technicians for  Direct or CONTRACT TO HIRE  employment. Upon converstion to direct our client provides industry leading compensation and benefits in a stable and respectful environment. This  position involves the performance and supervision of work on a variety of corporate jet aircraft; including, but not limited to: Dassault (Falcon), Gulfstream, Bombardier (Global/Challenger), Hawker, and Cessna (Citation).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the  maintenance, and repair of aircraft avionics systems in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturers’ recommendations, the company repair station manual, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that maintenance personnel adhere to the standards of airworthiness and specifications in compliance with FAA regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, employees, and company management.
  • Manage the use and maintenance of company facilities and equipment ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Ensure maintenance procedures and documents used are of current form and accurate.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
 

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years recent experience working on corporate avionics aircraft models typical to the company.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in the field of FAA Part 145 Repair Station quality control and return to service functions.
  • Thorough knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations including Part 121, 125, 129, and 135 operations.
  • Strong project management, conflict resolution, and prioritization skills.
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license issued by the FAA.
  • Valid California Driver's License.
  • Must have solid work history with job longevity


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aircraft manufacturers’ recognized model specific training.
  • Local to Southern California.

  • Multiple shifts are available (day, evening, weekend - including 4/10 shifts)
