We at The Structures Company have an opportunity for you as a Sr. Avionics Software Test Engineer!
Your Mission:
Seeking a talented and motivated Software Test Engineering Group Lead to join our Avionics Team.
The Group Lead is a small team manager who will lead and manage a team of 3-4 software test engineers.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience leading safety-critical software verification projects in aerospace or a similar industry.
Lead verification efforts for safety-critical and mission-critical software
Lead a small team of software test engineers
Establish processes and best practices
Oversee the development of test planning and test cases for vehicle-, system-, and component-level testing
Oversee the development and maintenance of regression testing tools
Required Skills:
5-10 years experience
Experience building and testing software
Preferance in aerospace, defense or medical device
Avionics background is best, but others will be considered(automotive, biomedical, etc.)
Must have a B.S. or M.S. in an Engineering discipline from an accredited university
2 or more years of experience leading safety-critical software verification
Experience with project and/or team management
Experience with requirements-based software verification
Experience with Vectorcast or similar unit testing tools
Experience developing a regression testing framework
Experience writing code in Python.
Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and written communication skills
