LOCATION: Denton, TX
SALARY: $68,040-75,600/year

Summary: 

Join a leading aerospace interiors team building high-end aircraft cabinetry using veneers, laminates, and composite materials. This role also includes mentoring other builders and upholding high quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Build custom aircraft cabinetry, monuments, and interior components

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications

  • Apply veneers, fabricate Corian countertops, hardwood bullnoses, and install inlays

  • Operate saws, routers, CNC machines, and other woodworking tools

  • Apply adhesives, epoxies, and bond hinge blocks

  • Work with fiberglass, kerf panels, and various aerospace materials

  • Lay out and route for hardware (switches, cup holders, etc.)

  • Maintain tools, shop cleanliness, and follow safety protocols

  • Train and mentor junior builders

  • Meet project deadlines and quality benchmarks

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of 4 years’ VIP aircraft cabinetry experience

  • Strong hand-eye coordination and knowledge of aerospace materials

  • Proficiency with measuring tools, adhesives, and basic fabrication

  • Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Capable of physical tasks (lifting, kneeling, overhead work)

  • Must pass DOT/FAA drug and alcohol screening

  • Ability to travel and work extended hours if needed

  • Must be obtained within 6 months of hire:

    • Toolbox, hammer, chisel set, tape measure

    • Screwdrivers (Phillips & flathead), calipers

  • Must demonstrate safe operation of:

    • CNC machines and routers

    • Saws: table, panel, chop, band

    • Sanders: drum, disc, spindle

    • Drill press and various hand tools

    • Spray gun and sealant tools

    • Drill, router, rivet gun, grinders
