JOB TITLE: Solder Inspector - 2nd Shift 
LOCATION: Oldsmar, FL
PAY RATE: $26-28/hour

Summary: 

• Visually inspect solder and conformal coating of circuit card assemblies using predetermined methods, inspection operations, and prescribed specifications in accordance with IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements

• Follow instructions, drawings, checklists, and use measuring devices (dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, etc.) to ensure assemblies meet manufacturing and industry standards

• Interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control documents, and work instructions

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum 2 years of experience inspecting solder connections on both surface mount and plated thru-hole components per IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001

• Ability to navigate IPC standards and apply accept/reject criteria accurately

• Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills

• Team player with excellent verbal and written communication

• Proficient with personal computers

• Effectively interface with all levels of manufacturing to address quality defects

• Team Player – Soft Skill, 1–2 years experience

• Ability to Read Engineering Drawings – Technical Skill, 2–4 years experience

• Documentation Skills – Technical Skill, 1–2 years experience

• IPC-A-610 – Technical Skill, 2–4 years experience

• IPC-J-STD-001 – Technical Skill, 2–4 years experience

• Measuring Tools – Technical Skill, 2–4 years experience

• Visual Inspection – Technical Skill, 2–4 years experience

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
