LOCATION: Grand Prairie, TX
PAY RATE: $29.90/hour

Summary:
-
Fabricate electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies to engineering drawings.
-
Daily tasks include fast-paced fabrication, using computer-based programs to update job status, track quality inspections, and manage engineering changes.

Place and solder components on circuit cards and sub-assemblies
-
Fabricate wiring harnesses (connector pinning/de-pinning, mounting hardware)
-
Build single- or multi-bay cabinet assemblies for Engineering or Production
-
Collaborate with Engineers, Fabricators, Draftsmen, Procurement, and Quality Inspectors
-
Communicate fabrication issues clearly to management and engineers
-
Maintain accurate records using software and Microsoft Office tools
Requirements:
-
Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance
-
High School Diploma
-
3+ years fabrication experience (cable/harness, SMT board, or military design products)
-
Prior solder and harness certification to MIL-STD requirements
-
Experience fabricating to blueprints, schematics, and engineering guides
-
Strong verbal and written communication
-
Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Desired Skills:
-
Associate’s Degree
-
J-STD-001 and IPC-7711/IPC-7721 solder certifications
-
Experience with procurement and test materials acquisition
-
Familiarity with Test Equipment engineering
