Job Description

JOB TITLE: Software Technical Analyst 4
LOCATION: Berkeley, MO
PAY RATE: Up to $68/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (Up to 12 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: Top Secret US Security Clearance; ability to obtain SAP clearances.

  • Shift: 2nd (Noon – 8:30 PM CT)

  • Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Execute complex software builds, environment setups, and test procedures.

  • Identify, document, and resolve system issues to ensure functionality and stability.

  • Use and customize software tools to generate software products (builds, requirement specs, design documents).

  • Design, construct, document, and check out code to implement solutions.

  • Execute and document complex software tests; maintain test logs.

  • Gather, compile, format, and analyze data to assess software performance.

  • Collect, review, and report software metrics.

  • Support large experimentation efforts using the Virtual Interactive Simulation Environment (VISE) suite for Operator in the Loop (OITL) simulations.

Requirements:

  • Top Secret US Security Clearance; ability to obtain SAP clearances.

  • Associate degree + 6+ years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Bachelor + 4 years, 8 years total experience).

  • 3–5 years experience with C++.

  • 3–5 years experience with version control systems (Git, Subversion).

  • Experience in customer-facing roles.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Distributive Interactive Simulation (DIS) standards.

  • Experience with operator-in-the-loop real-time simulation.

  • Experience with Agile SDLC methodology.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently.

  • Strong team mentality, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable working autonomously in secure environments.
