JOB TITLE: Software Engineer-Test & Verification 4

PAY RATE: $85.25/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

• Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?

• Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

Summary: 

• Supports verification development and review of test cases, test procedures, and conducts formal test readiness reviews.

• Leads software test team in formal verification of software requirements.

• Leads factory acceptance tests with the test team, maintaining the run log and daily report.

• Documents issues and problem reports encountered during test using change control tools.

• Tracks status of open issues identified during development, informal and formal test execution to closure.

• Supports and analyzes internal and external customer problem reports and acts as integrator for ground mission software.

• Leads team to meet compliance to software development and verification processes in support of audits.

• Supports change control board activities related to software verification process.

• Supports planning for deliverables including verification plans, requirement deviations, requirements, and test reports to meet program milestones.

Requirements:

• Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor's Degree.

• 5+ years of experience executing or leading automated, functional, and end-to-end testing activities.

• 5+ years of experience in the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, code, integration, and test.

• 3+ years of experience with software development using Java, C++, or Python.

• Experience working in an Agile software development environment and DevOps methodologies.

• Preferred: Experience as a Product Owner, Technical Lead, or Integration and Test Lead for government programs.

• Preferred: Experience leading formal acceptance testing activities including Formal Qualification Test, Factory Acceptance Test, and Site Acceptance Test.

• Preferred: Knowledge of database technologies (SQL or NoSQL), messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, ActiveMQ), and data streaming technologies (e.g., CCSDS).
