Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Develops and maintains requirements, architecture, algorithms, interfaces, and design for high-performance Command and Control (C2) software solutions.

• Leads software development activities in scaled agile methodology utilizing a DevSecOps environment.

• Integrates completed software components into a fully functional software system.

• Supports progress demonstration presentations to customer representatives and program or IPT leadership.

• Performs day-to-day activities in the areas of Product Owner or Technical Lead, Release Train Engineer or Scrum Master, and Integration and Test Lead.

• Implements a structured approach to defining and meeting a development and integration schedule alongside a managed cost baseline.

• Applies software development for space systems and ground segments performing command, control, mission planning, and data processing.

• Performs full software development lifecycle activities including requirements analysis, design, code, integration, and test.

• Develops software using Java, C++, or Python programming languages.

• Implements CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to automate testing, builds, and deployment workflows.

Requirements:

• Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• 5+ years of experience with software development for space systems and ground segments performing command, control, mission planning, and data processing.

• 5+ years of experience in the Software Development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, code, integration, and test.

• 3+ years of experience leading software development projects.

• 3+ years of experience with software development using Java, C++, or Python.

• Experience working in an Agile software development environment and DevOps methodologies.

• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.

• Preferred: Experience as a Product Owner, Technical Lead, or Integration and Test Lead for government programs.

• Preferred: Experience with database technologies (SQL or NoSQL), messaging systems such as Kafka and ActiveMQ, data streaming technologies, and containerization tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
