Summary:
Prepares engineering basis of estimate (BOE) bids for new features and coordinates with Cost Accounting Manager (CAM).
Drives product development using Agile methodology for mission-critical aircraft software.
Designs, implements, and integrates C and C++ code for airborne applications.
Participates in requirement analysis, verification, and validation activities for embedded software.
Conducts and supports hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) simulations and testing.
Partners with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and elevate software quality.
Contributes to documentation and configuration management using IBM DOORS.
Applies strong process knowledge for developing mission-critical embedded software per DO-178B and DO-178C standards.
Performs requirement-based testing (RVT) and unit testing for software validation.
Requirements:
Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Expert proficiency in C++ or C programming languages.
Experience with IBM DOORS or comparable requirements management tools.
Strong process knowledge for developing mission-critical embedded software for aircraft applications (DO-178B, DO-178C).
Knowledge of HWIL simulation environments, requirement-based testing (RVT), and unit testing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for software development.
Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
Preferred: Working knowledge of MATLAB and Python.
Preferred: Familiarity with 6DoF Simulations and Fire control systems.
