Summary:
Supports system build infrastructure critical to automation, configuration framework, system integration, and software build processes for multiple programs.
Supports software development teams in integrating, supporting, and debugging software deliveries.
Designs and develops automation utilities for build and integration processes.
Troubleshoots and supports CI/CD build pipelines.
Develops build automation infrastructure and automated tools.
Uses Python programming language for automation and tool development.
Works with Linux and Unix command line environments.
Uses software configuration management tools including Git, Artifactory, and Nexus.
Uses GitLab CI/CD for running pipelines, creating jobs, and resolving failures.
Builds and runs Docker containers and has basic awareness of Kubernetes concepts.
Requirements:
Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent experience (8+ years of relevant software engineering experience).
5+ years of experience programming in Python.
3+ years of experience with the Linux or Unix command line.
5+ years of experience with software configuration management tools including Git, Artifactory, and Nexus.
Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD for running pipelines, creating jobs, and resolving common failures.
Experience building and running Docker containers with basic awareness of Kubernetes concepts.
Understanding of core object-oriented principles and ability to write class-based code.
Capability to develop small to medium-sized modules with reusable code patterns.
Knowledge of code compilation process and its stages, and ability to debug and improve scripts.
