JOB TITLE: Software Engineer
LOCATION: Fort Worth, TX
PAY RATE: $25-70/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Design, code, test, and integrate embedded software components.

  • Develop, analyze, integrate, and validate embedded software for the Systems Engineering modernization team.

  • Collaborate with Systems Engineers, Architects, and other stakeholders to ensure software aligns with system requirements and architecture.

  • Maintain and manage software using version control systems.

  • Participate in code reviews, system integration, and debugging activities.

  • Adapt quickly to evolving project requirements and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain clearance

  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in embedded software development.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field preferred.

  • Programming Languages & Tools:

    • GitLab

    • Python

    • Cameo API Javadocs

    • PostgreSQL

    • JavaScript

  • Strong understanding of real-time embedded software design and integration.

  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and implement requirements in software solutions.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

  • Familiarity with database management and API integration.

  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and version control practices.

  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for complex embedded systems.

  • Experience with real-time systems strongly desired.

  • Must demonstrate the ability to adapt and learn quickly in a dynamic environment.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
