JOB TITLE: Software Engineer
LOCATION: Fort Worth, TX
PAY RATE: $50-85/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Review functional requirements and identify “happy path” and “corner case” scenarios.

• Create software test scripts using Python or SWAT for safety-critical qualification testing.

• Perform Software Quality Testing (SQT) onsite in lab environments.

• Develop Software Test Reports and lead reviews with internal and external stakeholders.

• Collaborate with developers to diagnose issues and update test scripts.

• Automate manual test cases and maintain automation pipelines.

• Build and update Confluence dashboards using GitLab data.

• Communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.

• Flex and adapt schedules during formal testing based on test station availability.

Requirements:

• 5+ years Python scripting and Linux software development (SUSE or RedHat).

• 5+ years functional test case development experience.

• 2+ years authoring software requirements.

• 2+ years experience with GitLab pipelines, Jira, and Agile software development.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
