JOB TITLE: Software Engineer
LOCATION: 
Cape Canaveral, FL
PAY RATE: $55-70/hour (NOOT)

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Schedule: 5/40 – 1st Shift

  • Clearance: Active Secret Clearance (Required to Start)

Summary: 

  • Seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to support defense-related programs in a secure environment.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of web-based applications and database solutions, working within an Agile team structure.

  • This role requires strong Oracle database development expertise combined with modern web and scripting capabilities.

Requirements:

  •  Active Secret Clearance (Required to Start)

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (or equivalent experience

  • Full stack or front-end web development experience:

    • HTML

    • CSS

    • JavaScript

    • PL/SQL

  • Oracle software development experience, including:

    • Packages

    • Stored procedures

    • Triggers

    • Functions

    • Indexes

  • Oracle front-end development experience using:

    • Oracle Forms or

    • Oracle APEX

  • Python programming experience

  • Experience working in Agile environments

  • Experience using collaboration tools such as JIRA

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Clearance

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Skills:

  • CompTIA Security+ certification

  • Experience with Parquet and Time Series data design/storage

  • Experience with Digital Engineering (MBSE, Digital Twins, etc.)

  • Experience working in Windows and/or Linux environments

  • Experience using version control tools (e.g., Git or similar)

  • Strong documentation and communication skills
