JOB TITLE: Software Engineer - Hybrid
LOCATION: Orlando, FL (
LOCAL BUT > 50% REMOTE)
PAY RATE: Up to $100/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Seeking a skilled Software Developer with a strong background in Unreal Engine and advanced C++ programming.

  • Support software development activities related to business or mission-critical systems.

  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that delivers logical and mathematical solutions using modern game engine technology.

  • This role requires applying industry standards, procedures, and tools across the full software development lifecycle.

  • Work with both hardware and software teams and collaborating with system users to define requirements and implement effective software solutions.

  • Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development tasks

  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug mission/business-critical software applications

  • Apply software development lifecycle standards, procedures, and tools

  • Work with system users to gather information and translate it into technical solutions

  • Leverage Unreal Engine and C++ expertise to design and implement innovative solutions

  • Correct program errors and prepare operating instructions

  • Compile documentation and analyze system capabilities to resolve technical issues related to program functionality, input/output requirements, and data handling

  • Ensure compliance with software standards and best practices

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 4–6 years of experience with Unreal Engine development

  • 4–6 years of advanced-level C++ programming

  • Solid understanding of computer hardware/software integration

  • Experience gathering user requirements and translating them into development solutions

  • Strong documentation and debugging skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to adapt and respond to changing project needs

  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

  • Self-motivated and reliable with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
