JOB TITLE: Simulator Software / Avionics Software Engineer
LOCATION: Tustin, CA
PAY RATE: $93/hour

Summary: 

• Develop and maintain internal tools supporting simulation and mission control activities

• Actively participate in:

  • Code reviews

  • Requirements development

  • Internal audits

  • Other software lifecycle development activities

• Monitor program performance post-implementation to prevent recurrence of issues and ensure operational efficiency

• Participate in risk management meetings and activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited university OR Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience

• 6+ years of experience in aerospace or similar software development programs

• Experience developing software for safety-critical embedded systems

• Experience developing C++ S-Functions in Simulink

• Experience with IP networking, including network packet generation and parsing

• Experience developing embedded software using C and C++

• Experience supporting aerospace software development programs

• Experience with IP networking, including Ethernet packet generation and parsing

• Experience with MATLAB and Simulink

• Experience with real-time Pilot-in-the-Loop (PITL) / Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) simulation environments

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
