Job Description

JOB TITLE: Sheet Metal Mechanic (Light Industrial) - Aerospace 

LOCATION: Greenville, SC

PAY RATE: $34.00 - $38.00 per hour

Details: 

  • 12-month contract with opportunities for extension

  • Must be able to work any shift

  • First Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm

  • Second Shift: Monday to Thursday, 4:30 pm - 3:00 am

  • Weekend Shift: Thursday to Sunday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm

Summary: 

  • Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs both internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces for aircraft modification in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations.

  • F-16 Production line structures and assembly. Installing fasteners, drilling bulkheads, skins, and building up fuselage components.

  • Heavy Precision drilling, Countersinking, and reaming precision holes. Most be actively drilling precision holes on aircraft.

Required Skills:

  • 4-6 years of precision drilling

Desired Skills:

  • 6+ years of experience in aircraft production structures

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in aircraft sheet metal repairs
