JOB TITLE: Senior VIP Interiors Mechanic
LOCATION: Moses Lake, WA
SALARY: $73,000/year

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • We have multiple openings for Senior VIP Interiors Mechanics.

  • Work under minimal supervision to safely perform aircraft interior removals, installations, and fabrication tasks, including galleys, closets, lavatories, bulkheads, and other cabin components.

  • Oversee and co-sign for uncertified mechanics per company procedures

  • Facilitate On-the-Job Training (OJT) and mentor team members

  • Support Leads in planning, production, and quality assurance

  • Gather and submit information to Engineering as required

  • Manufacture and fabricate monuments from raw materials (wood, honeycomb, fiberglass, etc.)

  • Fabricate, trim, fit, and install interior components (galleys, bulkheads, tables, etc.)

  • Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings

  • Troubleshoot and repair incoming cabinetry and interior components

  • Review equipment manuals and work orders for task execution

  • Diagnose problems, repair or replace parts, and perform testing

  • Maintain clear communication with team members and leadership

  • Complete tasks and OJT documentation in a timely manner

  • Ensure job clocking accuracy and maintain a clean work area

  • Display reliable and punctual attendance and professional conduct

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Applicable Repairman, Airframe, or A&P certification required

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)

  • Strong problem-solving and mathematical skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Willingness to work overtime and travel as required

  • This is a DOT safety-sensitive position and subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to comply with FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program

  • Able to climb ladders/step stools

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and 75 lbs. with assistance

  • Able to reach overhead and work in confined spaces

  • Normal or corrected vision

  • Full hand and body mobility; ability to stoop, kneel, and stand
