Summary: 

• Works under minimal supervision to perform removals, installation, and fabrication of aircraft interiors (e.g., galleys, closets, bulkheads, doors, and panels).

• VIP aircraft interiors experience is preferred but not required.

• Overseeing uncertified mechanics and facilitating On-the-Job Training (OJT) are part of the role. 

• Manufacture and fabricate interior components on VIP aircraft using materials like wood, fiberglass, and sheet metal.

• Install, trim, and fit interior components including galleys, bulkheads, and doors.

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and manuals.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain cabinetry and interior parts.

• Provide OJT and mentor less experienced team members.

• Assist in planning, production, and quality assurance of projects.

• Communicate effectively with team and leadership regarding progress and challenges.

• Complete tasks on time, accurately clocking jobs and maintaining regular attendance.

Required Skills:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in aircraft interior installation, fabrication, or related fields.

• VIP aircraft interiors experience is a plus.

• Applicable Repairman, Airframe, or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required.

• Must qualify as a US Person for ITAR compliance.

• Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong math and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Willingness to work overtime and travel as required.

• Overtime is required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally up to 75 lbs with assistance).

• Ability to work on ladders and in confined spaces.

• Ability to comply with DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.

• Normal or corrected vision and full range of motion in both hands.
