JOB TITLE: Senior Structures and Payload Design Engineer
LOCATION: Manassas, VA
PAY RATE: $65-80/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Produce airframe structural configuration layouts and detailed designs

• Create and maintain CAD solid models and drawings that meet all requirements

• Review and check product structures and BOMs to ensure component integrity

• Conduct design reviews and collaborate with other departments

• Prepare presentations for program reviews

• Work with composite and metallic primary/secondary structures

• Support manufacturing liaison without handling shop tools

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering preferred

• Minimum 10 years’ aerospace industry experience

• Proficiency in CATIA V5: Generative Surface Design, Part Design, and Assembly

• Familiarity with aerospace composite industry standards

• Experience with product data management systems such as Smarteam or Enovia LCA/PDM

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

• US Citizen, Green Card Holder, or Permanent Resident
